Doing a great job! Nothing better than to have something you like as good as a profession! Keep up the good job!
The plan has hardly changed at all... just the timeline. I got stuck here in Egypt for a while, but eventually I'll be moving on through Jordan, Syria (if I can get in), Turkey, Georgia and then into Central Asia.
Do you remember me from Baro Hotel in Addis Ababa about a year ago? I seem to have beaten your record for being in Addis...8 months now. Drop me a line if you swing through Ethiopia! Glad to hear you are safe in Cairo, too. Man, how long have you been there???
Of course I remember you. How is everything in Ethiopia these days?
I've been living in Egypt for a total of like, yes, 8 months now with a couple month side-trip up to Europe for work.
I don't think that I'll be back in Ethiopia anytime soon. Eventually, I do plan on contuining my travels and heading north.
p.s. ashraf is a bit keen!
Good news that you're safe in Cairo! Clever banana for escaping Dahab this week!
I'm back in Dahab now. I don't expect any more attacks anytime soon. But it is very quiet.
I just posted a new article about this topic.

Great site with much information. Also the pictures are great. What fotocamera do you use.
I've been through a number of cameras on my travels. I've now upgraded to a professional digital SLR -- the Nikon d70.
I've been through 4 cameras in my travels -- upgrading each time. Now, I'm shooting with a Nikon d70 digital SLR.
Adam, I am one the Drive Africa Team that you met in Addis last year. I have been going though my stuff and came across your card. I like the web site. Best of luck for the future. Tom
Hi Adam, I just stumbled across your stie and wanted to let you know how much I have been enjoying your website! Your article on traveling in the Middle East was wonderful to read, and your photos are beautiful. I hope you're having a wonderful time right now. Thank you for your site, and keep it up as long as possible.
Hey Adam - sorry I missed saying good bye in Cairo! I stopped by one day but you were out. Anyway, I'm back in the states and in a state of shock. I'm sure though it won't take long to adjust to all the marketing and desire of needing this and that - I will try to resist though. Thinking of you here and hope all is well. I'd love to keep in touch if you like so shoot me an email if you fancy. Otherwise I really enjoyed meeting you, hanging out on the rooftop at Dahab hotel, sharing stories, drinking whiskey and whatever else and especially listening to the tunes of your Apple computer and nice speakers! You really made Dahab much more enjoyable for me - its not JUST a hotel with you there! Take care Adam!
