CONNECTION IS VERY SLOW
I am now in the lovely little town of Flores Guatemala. Weather is warm and the pace of life is _very_ slow. Lunch takse an hour to show up, but it's good, $2 and I'm certainly not in a hurry.
I was at Tikal yesterday. Phenomenal. Huge temples, unexcavacted ruins. Very indiana jones. Monkeys in the trees, and yes JD - leafcutter ants.
Another day here... and I'm flying off to Antigua Guatemala.
Interesting note for those who know of my future travel plans. Met an American deadhead last night who has been to base camp everest with no prep or gear. Hmmmm.... :wq
